“I usually prepare fruit and vegetables for my mom, who’s currently going through chemo. Before RYVA Pure, I’d rinse everything thoroughly and sometimes soak it in vinegar, which could be a hassle. Now I just use RYVA Pure as part of my normal prep routine. It’s simple, convenient, and gives me one consistent extra step when washing her produce.”

The research

Electrolyzed water is published science, not a gadget claim.

RYVA Pure uses the same electrolysis principle studied in peer-reviewed food-science journals. Here is what independent researchers found.

Electrolyzed oxidizing water and pesticide residues on produce

Qi, H., Huang, Q. & Hung, Y.-C. · Peer-reviewed

Tested removal of diazinon, cyprodinil and phosmet from spinach, snap beans and grapes. After a 15-minute treatment, electrolyzed oxidizing water outperformed bleach, a commercial produce wash and distilled water, with no significant change in colour or texture.

Not all capsules are equal

You've seen the $30 version. Here's the difference.

The same shell is sold under many names for around $30, and the listings disagree with each other on their own specs: 3,600 to 5,000 mAh, 3 to 10-minute cycles, 20 to 30 uses per charge. The shape is the same; what is inside, and who stands behind it, is not.

If a cheap pod turns the water brown or rusty within seconds, that colour is often the electrode itself corroding. RYVA Pure’s electrode is titanium, which does not rust. The fair test for any pod is a cycle in an empty bowl of tap water first, then the same bowl with produce.

Who uses RYVA Pure

Built for people who eat a lot of produce.

If fruit and vegetables are on the table every day, a consistent cleaning step matters more than any single wash.

Families with young kids

Kids eat a lot of fruit for their size. One bowl, one button, and the lunchbox fruit is done.

Meal preppers and smoothie makers

Clean a week of greens and berries in one cycle while you prep everything else.

Cooking for someone in treatment

Care teams ask for careful food handling during treatment. RYVA Pure adds a hands-free, tap-water-only step for pesticide residue, alongside the rules your team gives you.

Budget-conscious healthy eaters

Can't go fully organic? Give conventional produce a proper clean for a one-time price instead of a weekly premium.

RYVA Pure is an extra cleaning step for produce, not a substitute for food-safety guidance from health authorities or your clinician.

Third-party lab tested

Independent lab results: three pesticides in water, all below the detection limit.

Up to 99.9% pesticide reduction after a single 10-minute cycle in a 2.5-litre water test by an accredited third-party laboratory. Not an internal test.

Why these three. Glyphosate is classified by the WHO’s cancer agency as probably carcinogenic to humans (IARC Monographs vol. 112, 2015). Chlorpyrifos and dichlorvos are organophosphate insecticides that are no longer approved for use in the EU.

Questions

Everything people ask before they buy.

How does RYVA Pure actually work?

The titanium electrode runs a low-voltage current through tap water, splitting water molecules into active ions and micro-bubbles. That active water loosens waxes, dirt and surface residues so they lift off the produce and into the bowl. Nothing is added; you rinse and eat.

Is it effective, or is this just marketing?

Electrolyzed water has been tested in peer-reviewed food-science research (see The Science above). With RYVA Pure you can usually see the result in the bowl as well. Results vary by produce type, residue and water quality, which is why we give you 60 days to judge it in your own kitchen.

Is the cloudy water just a reaction from the device?

The fair test is a cycle in a bowl of plain tap water with nothing in it, then the same bowl with grapes or greens. We encourage you to run both. Anything the second bowl shows that the first one does not came off the produce. We do not ask you to judge pesticide removal by eye; that was measured in water by an accredited laboratory, and the table is in the lab report section above.

Skeptics say it cannot remove what is inside the fruit. Is that true?

Correct, and we do not claim it does. No wash, rinse, soak or spray removes residue that has already penetrated the flesh; that is equally true of vinegar, baking soda and produce washes. RYVA Pure is a surface-cleaning step: it lifts wax, soil and surface residue from the skin, which is where contact (non-systemic) pesticides sit. Peeling removes more, but takes the peel and its fibre with it.

Why $79 when the same shell is about $30 on Amazon?

Same shell, different insides and a different company behind it. Listings for the $30 version disagree with each other on their own specs (3,600 to 5,000 mAh, 3 to 10-minute cycles, 20 to 30 uses per charge), and many use a stainless-steel electrode that can corrode in water. RYVA Pure uses a titanium electrode, ships with a wireless charging base, and comes with a 60-day money-back trial, a 1-year warranty and support you can reach. The row-by-row comparison is in the “You’ve seen the $30 version” section above.

How is this different from rinsing or a vinegar soak?

Rinsing removes loose dirt but runs off waxy skins. Vinegar helps but leaves a taste and still needs a soak and scrub. RYVA Pure runs hands-free for 10 minutes and works on the surface film that water alone slides over.

Is it safe? Does it add anything to my food?

RYVA Pure uses tap water only. No detergents, fragrances, ozone cartridges or sprays. The capsule is fully sealed and shuts off automatically. Rinse produce with clean water after the cycle, as you would after any wash.

Will it damage soft fruit like berries?

No. There are no blades or spinning parts; the capsule sits still and the water does the work. Berries, greens and herbs come out intact.

Can I use warm or hot water?

Use cold or room-temperature tap water. Hot water is not recommended for the capsule or for soft produce. The cycle works at normal tap temperature; there is nothing to heat and nothing to measure.

What is the electrode made of, and does it wear out?

Titanium. It does not rust in water, which is why a RYVA cycle does not colour the water from the electrode itself. Rinse and dry the capsule after use; there are no filters, cartridges or parts to replace.

I'm going through cancer treatment, or cooking for someone who is. Is RYVA Pure right for us?

Your care team's food-safety rules come first: which raw fruits and vegetables are fine, and how to wash them. RYVA Pure adds a step for pesticide residue. In an independent lab water test, one 10-minute cycle took glyphosate, chlorpyrifos and dichlorvos below the detection limit. Its lab testing covers pesticides, so for germs keep following your team's washing rules.

It runs on tap water only, so there is no vinegar or soap smell for anyone dealing with taste changes, and it works hands-free on low-energy days.

Can I use it on more than fruit and vegetables?

Yes: rice and grains, and meat or seafood. Use a separate bowl for meat and seafood, and rinse the capsule under the tap afterwards before it goes back in with produce. Do not use with hot water.

How much water? Enough to cover the produce and the capsule, in any bowl or basin up to about 4 litres. More water than that dilutes the cycle.

How long does the battery last and how do I charge it?

A full charge runs 25 or more 10-minute cycles. Set the capsule on the wireless charging base (USB cable included) for a few hours; the light tells you when it is ready.

Cleaning: rinse under the tap and pat dry after each use. The top cover lifts off for a deeper clean. There are no filters or cartridges to replace.

What is the shipping time?

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days and most US deliveries arrive within 5–11 days. You receive tracking as soon as your order ships. Shipping is free on every US order.

What is your return policy and warranty?

60-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, contact support within 60 days of delivery and we will refund the product price. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

Every RYVA Pure also carries a 1-year warranty against defects. If the capsule or base stops working, contact support and we replace it.

So useful, lightweight, and easy to use

I’ve been using this to give fruits and vegetables an extra clean before preparing them. I still rinse everything normally, but using this afterward feels like an added step that gives me more peace of mind. I just fill a bowl or container with water, add the food, place the device inside, and let it run for around 10 minutes. I’ve tried it with fruits, vegetables, rice, meat, and seafood, so it’s been surprisingly versatile. It’s also lightweight, simple to use, and feels well made. Overall, I really like having it in the kitchen.

Game changer!!!

The Fruit and Vegetable Cleaning Machine is a versatile and effective tool for removing impurities from fruits, vegetables, rice, meat, and tableware. Its USB wireless design is portable and easy to use, and its compact size saves space. Ideal for small batches, it’s a great choice for healthier food prep, though more color options would be nice.

Works Perfectly and Easy to Use

Shipping was quick and the device arrived working perfectly. Once it starts, you can see plenty of bubbles, which makes it feel like it’s actually doing something. It automatically shuts off after some time, which I assume is part of the normal cycle. The charging cable could definitely be a little longer, but that’s a small thing. So far, it seems useful and I’m happy with it.
